Flag Raising Ceremony
Every Monday, the entire school community meets at the start of the school day for a flag-raising ceremony and character-building assembly.
Ice Cream Social
Our Ice Cream Social the day before school starts each year is an exciting way to welcome our school family back from the summer break!
As a fundraiser, our students are challenged to read as many pages as possible over the summer break. Their efforts are rewarded in the fall with a themed party and awards based on the number of pages that they read.
One evening every fall the PTA hosts our school community on campus for a few hours of fall fun. We have a bouncy house, pony rides, face painting, food, and games.
Twice a school year, once in the fall and once in the spring, we welcome the Scholastic Book Fair to campus. Students always look forward to looking at new books and kicking off the week with a themed dress up day.
We hold an annual auction open to the community that serves as our primary fundraising event for the year.
As a part of our lower school curriculum, we learn how to share the planet with other living things. Earth Day is a time for us to celebrate our planet and share with each other ways that we can preserve and take care of it. Activities may include guest speakers from our community, stations to learn about ways to take action, or exploring Earth Day celebrations around the world. Each grade level decides how they want to celebrate this special day in correlation with their units of inquiry.
Grandparents & Special Friends' Day
Every school year, we invite our grandparents to campus for a special day to honor them with a music program, lunch, and classroom activities.
Performing Arts Productions
In December and May, our students deliver outstanding performances for our school family and the community.
IB Olympics & Spirit Days
Our students love to exercise their competitive spirit during Fall and Spring IB Olympics, two days of team-building games and challenges that highlight their development through our physical wellness program. We welcome in these events by having spirit days leading up to the day of competition.
Academic Prep Classes
Throughout the year, we offer several academic prep courses including an SAT/ACT class for any high school student in grades 10-12, as well as a Middle School Prep class for rising 6th and 7th graders.
