The Archery Club is offered to students in grades 4-8. This club is formed each year upon the completion of the mandatory curriculum, which is provided by the N.C. Wildlife and Resources Commission, being taught during Wellness/Fitness class in the fall. It's a program that's facilitated by certified instructors and students have the ability to compete in both local and state competitions with the hopes of reaching the national competition held in Kentucky during May of each year.
Art Club meets Thursdays from 3:15-4:15 and is for grades 5th-8th. Art Club is an independent work time for students to explore their own artistic interests and build their knowledge base through media exploration and collaboration with fellow students.
This club is all about having fun while developing the fundamental skills needed to succeed in basketball for grades K-2. It doesn’t matter if someone has never held a basketball or if they are ready for the pros, this club accepts all levels who are willing to show a commitment to improving their abilities. We focus on footwork, shooting, passing and dribbling as well as good sportsmanship!
The Elementary Book Club (grades 3-5) and the Middle School Book Club (grades 6-8) meet approximately every 6 weeks to discuss selected titles. We express our viewpoints, show creativity and reflect on what we've read. We always enjoy themed snacks and great discussion.
Chess club is offered for students in grades 3-8. In chess club, we focus on logical thinking, problem solving, and being good sports during competitive games. We accept both experienced and novice chess players, and students have the chance to play against students of all ages.

National Elementary Honors Society
The National Elementary Honors Society is an organization that recognizes students for their outstanding academic achievement and personal responsibility. Recognized students in grades 4-6 are invited to join this club to provide meaningful service to the school and community while developing essential leadership skills.
Running Club (Spring)
In Running Club, students learn the FUNdamentals of running with the key element being fun! We emphasize good technique, participation, and self-improvement. The Running Club is available for students in grades 3-8.
STEM club is a powerful and enjoyable way to further engage 5th through 8th grade students with science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Unlike traditional science and math classes, students will be engaged in activities from calculating and designing architectural structures, to building robots from the ground up. This club is designed to ignite an interest in STEM subjects and provide a platform to extend their learning.
